Booking information 

The following information applies to those attending our holidays, courses and Warrior Way®  clinics & camps.  

To book on any of our holidays or courses please email us at [email protected] stating which holiday or course you are interested in and any bolt on units you would like to add.  It is helpful if this email includes a simple precise of your current climbing level, experience and aspirations for the holiday/course. Once we have confirmed availability for the course/dates you are interested in we will send you a payment request via email.  Once this is paid your booking is confirmed.  FOr information we have refunded all COVID19 cancellations to date. Refund policy is described in the payment request.  

For all of our courses and holidays we recommend that have your own climbing and travel insurance that covers your climbing activities and your belongings. This will enable you to get better cover  and faster payment in case of an accident, damage or loss of your belongings. Note that your belongings and equipment are not covered under our  insurance policy. Our insurance policy only covers you during the activity. You and your belongings are not covered during transfers or any time whilst not climbing, canyoneering or trekking- On arrival we will ask you for the details of your policy including your policy number & contact numbers.

For individuals booking one to one instruction or guiding we strongly recommend you also have your own climbing and travel nsurance for the reasons explained above.

For those concentrating on sports climbing a single 60m/10-11mm rope is usually sufficient. For those wishing to multi-pitch it is recommendable to have two 50-60m ropes of 8-9mm. On all the holidays it is possible to spend the whole time climbing on bolts. However, to make the most of the climbing opportunities it is recommended that you bring at least a half-rack for the Classic Gorges trip and a full rack for both Montserrat and the Pyrenees if you want to do some trad climbing.

Travel Arrangements

Climb Catalunya supports sustainable travel and encourage you to consider travelling by train or other overland options.  The man in seat 61 has great information on train travel to Barcelona.  If you travel by train we will do our best to accommodate this in our holiday pick up and drop off times but please discuss this with us in advance of booking your travel. 

Holiday and course participants are picked-up at a pre-arranged time at the Arrivals gate of Terminal B, Barcelona El Prat airport (30 mins by train or bus from the city centre) or at Barcelona Sants Train station.  One of our team will be there waiting to meet you. Drop-offs are also made at the airport and train station.
